I Walked the Line
Few weeks ago I was up in Appleton at a local drinking establishment. Started drinking at oh, 11pm. Total consumption. Two Rolling Rocks. We left at about 1:30am because it kinda, well sucked. Driving my friend back, i managed to get pulled over. Mind you, i had TWO beers over two and a half hours.
The reason I got pulled over was legit. I had a burned out tail light. Okay, Thank You mr. officer (he was cute by the way). Oh whats that on my breath he smells? Oh, yeah the two beers i had over the two and a half hours. He asked me what I had to drink. I reply "I had two bars. I mean two beers at the bar." Yeah, i was boned from then.
He got to do the whole "Follow my finger with your eyes, don't move your head" I swear he was trying to trip me up. But consuming only two beers over two hours i wasn't even close to being drunk, wasted, whatever. Got to walk the line (count to nine, return, hands by your side). Yeah, being not drunk, that didn't work for him anyway. He whips out the breathaliser. Gave a quick blow, and there were a bunch of zeros, and a two at the end. Yes 0.02. .08 is the legal limit in Wisconsin. I think .025 is the legal limit to fly a comercial jet liner as set by the FAA. I was sent with a warning for the burnt out tail light, and told to drive safely.
I noticed that I'm getting a few hits from Google Financial regarding a recent negative experience with SunCom Wireless.
Lil il back ground.
T-Mobile has no network of their own in North Carolina (aside from Elizabeth City, which I wasn't at). Roaming options were limited to Cingular and SunCom. T-Mobile now prefers roaming on SunCom over Cingular, and actually won't allow network access to Cingular. When I was there my phone would default to SunCom, and if NO network was available it would allow Cingular roaming. So, I was in Lilington, Dunn, and Raleigh. Calls would usually complete. But would generally require a moment or two to set up the call. Audio was garbled at best, then dropped pretty quick if i wasn't staying still, or in an extremely well covered area. My phone wasn't an issue. I took a Nokia 6230b (unbranded) and a 6101. Two very strong preformers. But neither could hold a call on SunCom to save their life. When allowed to roam on Cingular the problems went away. So... this is why I think SunCom is less than desireable... Anyway.
That is all,
